Whittington Neighbourhood House Committee

The Committee meet quarterly to implement a governance structure to effectively support the Neighbourhood House.

The position of ordinary committee member is taken on by a person who is committed to participating actively in committee work in a voluntary capacity and is an integral part of the working committee of the organisation.

Roles and responsibilities

1. Regularly attends committee and general meetings

2. Stays informed about committee matters, prepares well for committee meetings and reviews and comments on minutes and reports

3. Actively participates to build strong working relationships that contributes to consensus

4. Participates in the committee’s evaluation and planning process
